Privacy Policy

Summary
AvidZenith LLC uses a minimal first-party pageview counter together with Google Analytics 4 where appropriate. The purpose is narrow: to understand how many people visit, which public pages are useful, the general sources that send traffic to the site, and the general geographic regions visitors come from. We do not use this data for advertising, remarketing, or building individual visitor profiles, and we do not try to identify individual visitors.
What we measure
Our Google Analytics integration is limited to ordinary website measurement. Information processed for that purpose can include:
- Visits and page views.
- The normalized public page path and page title.
- The referring website's origin, such as
https://www.google.com/, without the referring page path, query string, or fragment. - Coarse geographic information derived by Google from the network connection, such as country or region.
- Basic browser and device information that Google Analytics processes as part of ordinary measurement, such as user agent, language, screen information, and timestamps.
Canonical first-party pageview count
Each valid public pageview also sends a minimal same-site HEAD request so AvidZenith can maintain a canonical pageview count even when Google Analytics is unavailable or intentionally disabled. This counter does not depend on Google.
The counter contains only the normalized public route plus a fixed internal pageview marker. It does not copy the visited page's query string or fragment, does not contain a request body, omits browser credentials/cookies, and suppresses the referrer header. Like any request to a web server, ordinary network metadata such as an IP address and user agent is necessarily visible to the server while the request is handled.
What we deliberately do not send
- Google User-ID or another AvidZenith account identifier.
- Names, email addresses, or contact-message contents.
- URL query strings or URL fragments as Analytics page locations.
- Advertising identifiers or data intended for ad personalization.
- Google Signals data for cross-device or signed-in-user reporting.
- QR-code destination URLs, generated SVG contents, or clipboard data.
QR Generator privacy
The AvidZenith QR Generator creates QR codes in your browser. The URL you enter is not sent to AvidZenith for QR generation. Analytics is configured with path-only page locations, and when the QR Generator is opened with a prefilled URL in the query string, Google Analytics is not loaded on that page at all. The first-party pageview counter records only the canonical /qr route and never copies the prefilled destination into its marker request.
Cookies and regional behavior
AvidZenith does not use advertising storage through Google Analytics. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are configured as denied in every region.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Analytics storage is also configured as denied. Google may receive cookieless measurement pings, but Google Analytics cookies are not written or read by this integration for those visitors.
For visitors outside those regions, Google Analytics may use a first-party cookie containing a random or pseudonymous browser identifier so visits and sessions can be measured more accurately. AvidZenith configures that cookie with a fixed 30-day lifetime and does not refresh the expiration period as additional activity occurs.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, AvidZenith does not load Google Analytics for that visit. The minimal first-party pageview counter still records the canonical public route without setting an identifier.
IP addresses and location
Like other web requests, communication with Google necessarily involves an IP address at the network layer. Google states that Google Analytics uses IP information at collection time for purposes such as coarse geolocation and service operation, and that individual IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics. AvidZenith does not receive a report containing individual visitor IP addresses from Google Analytics.
No advertising use
AvidZenith does not use this website's Analytics data for targeted advertising, remarketing, or ad personalization. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled by the site, and advertising consent states are denied. We use the resulting reports only to understand aggregate website traffic and improve the public site.
Retention
Google Analytics provides property-level retention controls for user- and event-level data. AvidZenith keeps detailed analytics only for as long as reasonably useful for website measurement. Google may retain standard aggregated reporting separately from the user/event-level retention setting.
Google as a service provider
Google Analytics is provided by Google. Google processes measurement data under its own terms and privacy practices. You can learn more from Google's Analytics data safeguards information and Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
If AvidZenith materially changes what this site measures or how that data is used, this page will be updated to reflect the change.
