AvidZenith LLC

Technical work, taken to its proper depth

Software platforms, embedded systems, and decision-support tools

About

Who AvidZenith LLC is, the work it takes on, and where that work is currently focused.

AvidZenith LLC is a Washington-based software and technology company focused on software platforms, embedded systems, decision-support tools, and research-backed systems work.

Current work spans applied software, hardware-adjacent tooling, embedded device interfaces, decision-support systems, and internal research and development across emerging technical areas.

AvidZenith is built for projects where the important pieces often live across multiple layers: application logic, data, interfaces, hardware constraints, user workflows, and long-term maintenance.

Current scope

  • Software & platforms

Applications, services, and platform systems built for clarity, reliability, and long-term use.

  • Hardware & embedded systems

Software and interfaces shaped around real hardware, device, and operational constraints.

  • Decision-support tools

Research-backed systems that turn technical, operational, and economic information into useful decision workflows.

  • Research & development

Internal exploration across software, intelligent systems, simulation, infrastructure, and interactive technologies.

Engineering Approach

How AvidZenith approaches technical work, ownership, and long-term system design.

AvidZenith LLC is built around direct technical ownership. The people shaping the work stay close to the design, implementation, and long-term behavior of the systems being developed.

That matters when a project spans more than one technical layer. AvidZenith works across software, data, hardware interfaces, embedded constraints, and operational workflows, where decisions in one part of a system can affect the behavior of the whole.

The company’s approach is to take technical work to its proper depth: deep enough to preserve correctness, clarity, and continuity, while keeping complexity purposeful rather than making complexity an end in itself.

At a glance

  • Direct technical ownership

Work stays close to both design and implementation.

  • Systems, not fragments

Software, data, hardware interfaces, and workflows are treated as parts of the same system.

  • Appropriate depth

Projects are built deeply where the purpose requires it, and kept simple where simplicity is stronger.

  • Built for continuity

Work is structured for maintenance, adaptation, and long-term use.

Feed4Profit

AvidZenith LLC contributes to Feed4Profit in collaboration with the Swine Applied Innovations Lab (SAIL) at Iowa State University. Feed4Profit is a web-based decision-support platform for swine production that connects nutrition, predicted biological performance, market assumptions, and profitability-focused scenario comparison within a unified workflow.

AvidZenith's contribution focuses on software architecture, platform development and modernization, technical implementation, and the long-term application foundation supporting Feed4Profit's continued development under SAIL's research leadership.

Focus

  • Software architecture & platform foundation
  • V2 platform modernization
  • Decision-support workflow integration
  • Validation, traceability & long-term maintainability

Outcomes

  • A stronger, more maintainable application foundation for continued Feed4Profit development
  • A more unified decision workflow connecting nutrition, biological performance, economics, and scenario comparison
  • A technical architecture designed to support validation, continued expansion, and long-term operation

SOLSTICE Panel

SOLSTICE Panel is an open-source Rust-based management system for NVIDIA Jetson-powered embedded hardware. It was developed around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano paired with the Yahboom MINI CUBE NANO Case, integrating hardware control, monitoring, runtime configuration, process visibility, and a local browser-based interface into one system.

The current hardware profile is optimized for that configuration, while remaining adaptable to compatible Jetson and Linux ARM64 environments where device interfaces and hardware settings may differ. SOLSTICE Panel is published under the MIT License for inspection, use, modification, and community contribution.

Focus

  • Embedded hardware integration
  • Runtime monitoring & control
  • Local management interface
  • Open, adaptable architecture

Outcomes

  • Unified hardware and system management for the SOLSTICE Jetson platform
  • Configurable foundation adaptable beyond the original Yahboom hardware profile
  • Public MIT-licensed reference implementation for inspectable embedded systems work

Private Research & Development

AvidZenith LLC maintains internal research and development across software architecture, simulation, intelligent systems, infrastructure, and interactive technologies.

This work is used to explore new technical approaches, develop reusable foundations, and investigate longer-horizon systems before they are ready to become public projects or products. Some projects remain intentionally private while concepts, implementations, and intellectual property are still under active development.

Focus

  • Software & systems architecture
  • Simulation & modeling
  • Intelligent systems
  • Infrastructure & platform research
  • Interactive technologies

Outcomes

  • New concepts and technical foundations explored through internal development
  • Reusable systems and architectural patterns that can inform future projects
  • Long-horizon research developed privately until the work is ready to surface
